The Trading Research & Community Tools team within the brokerage division builds products and systems that help customers engage more deeply with markets while ensuring reliability and clarity in trading experiences. The team focuses on improving how customers access insights, interact with trading features, and navigate key decisions. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive and performant mobile experiences! As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain critical features in Robinhood’s iOS application that support trading and community-driven experiences. You will contribute to technical decisions, improve app performance, and ensure high-quality user experiences at scale. This role involves partnering with engineering peers and product stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, maintainable mobile solutions. You will also help improve development practices, mentor engineers, and support the delivery of well-tested code. This role is based in our New York, NY office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. What you’ll do Build and maintain iOS features that support trading workflows and customer engagement tools Write clean, maintainable Swift code and contribute to improving code quality through reviews and testing practices Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver reliable mobile features Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience Support technical planning by breaking down projects
