We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and scaling systems that power Robinhood’s global product expansion. You will own a critical product and engineering surface within the International organization, partnering closely with cross-functional leaders to deliver robust, scalable, and localized experiences for customers around the world. As part of the International Engineering team, you will play a key role in executing Robinhood’s global strategy by building reliable systems and driving high-quality technical execution in a fast-moving environment. This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY offices, with in-person attendance expected 5 days per week. What You’ll Do Lead a high-performing team: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, setting a high bar for execution, ownership, and technical quality. Own team execution: Drive delivery of complex projects end-to-end, ensuring clear prioritization, predictable execution, and high-quality outcomes. Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with product, design, data, and partner engineering teams to translate business goals into actionable plans. Contribute to technical direction: Guide system design and architecture decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Raise the engineering bar: Establish strong engineering practices across code quality, testing, observability, and operational excellence. Hire and develop talent: Actively recruit and retain top engineers, and support their growth through coaching and performance management.
