The Team Pinterest is a visual discovery platform where people go from inspiration to action, the Infra Governance space plays a foundational role: it helps ensure Pinterest鈥檚 infrastructure strategy can scale with product demand while remaining disciplined on cost, capacity, and long-term platform health. What is especially exciting about this team is the mix of technical strategy, planning rigor, and business impact鈥攊t sits close to infrastructure and platform engineering, close to Product execution, and close to the investment decisions that determine where Pinterest scales next. It is also an unusually strong fit for a senior IC TPM who wants to build governance mechanisms, improve transparency into where infrastructure and AI investment is going, and redesign high-toil operating workflows with AI-first methods. The TPM interview framework reinforces that this kind of role is about ambiguity handling, XFN influence, technical judgment, and mechanism-building at scale. What you鈥檒l do: Partner with Product and Engineering to translate infrastructure strategy into executable multi-quarter programs, with clear scope, sequencing, dependencies, governance forums, and measurable outcomes across the Infra Governance portfolio. Lead capacity planning as a core operating motion: connect product demand, infrastructure supply, growth assumptions, and technical constraints into a durable planning cadence that enables earlier, better investment decisions.
