We鈥檙e looking for an Engineering Manager I to lead a high-impact team building and supporting Pinterest鈥檚 mid-funnel ad products, including Max-Width Collections, Promoted Board Takeover, Collage Ads, Ads Modules, Showcase Ads, and Quiz Ads. This role owns a portfolio of revenue-critical, time-sensitive products and is responsible for driving both the technical direction and execution needed to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. What you鈥檒l do: Lead an engineering team delivering mid-funnel ad products end to end, ensuring projects are well-scoped, de-risked, and shipped on time with strong performance against target metrics. Drive initiatives to apply AI across mid-funnel ad products, using AI to accelerate prototyping, experimentation, and iteration while maintaining quality and safety. Champion AI adoption in developer workflows, using AI to automate repeatable tasks (e.g., testing, documentation, code reviews) and improve engineering velocity and capacity. Use AI to synthesize complex inputs (metrics, experiments, user feedback, incidents) into clear insights that inform roadmap, tradeoffs, and technical decisions. Serve as the engineering owner for this workstream: define the technical roadmap, architecture, and long-term vision in partnership with cross-functional partners (PM, Design, DS, PMM).
